A river cruise is one of the best ways to explore inland Europe, visiting cities, towns and villages that traditional big ships usually can't access, and with ease. Where else can you take in views of the lush vineyards of Portugal’s Douro Valley or the bright buildings on the outskirts of Venice? You’ll get to sail from country to country without navigating customs and airport terminals — and since everything is all-inclusive there’s no need to worry arranging dinner plans or booking sightseeing tours.

This month we had travel designers in Cancun/Riviera Maya AND Tulum. Tulum has become a new favorite and continues to grow in popularity.⁠

Tulum is about 1hr 45min drive from the Cancun airport. There are so many activities available in this area! Here are a few of our favorites 🌴⁠

1️⃣ Rent a bike and explore Tulum! It is a trendy town filled with delicious dining and cute boutiques. For only $10 a day, this is the most efficient way to get around. Taxis can get pretty pricey!⁠
2️⃣ Snorkel in one of many Cenotes in the area. The Gran Cenote is beautiful and you'll get to swim with sea turtles! Don't worry, you can rent snorkels there. 😁⁠
3️⃣ Explore the Tulum Ruins. There's a private beach within walking distance to cool down after taking in the sights.

With the new CDC guidelines, it may be easy to feel overwhelmed by the thought of traveling right now. We're here to clear a few things up and provide clarity ☀️ Below are the most FAQ's and our answers.⁠

1. Who is enforcing the new guidelines? The airlines will be monitoring and will not allow boarding for passengers who don't have negative Covid-19 test results.⁠

2. Am I required to have the vaccine? No, you are not required to have the vaccine. But all vaccinated travelers will still need to test IN DESTINATION and receive a negative result within 3 days of return to the US.⁠

3. Who does this apply to? This new travel guideline applies to all international travelers who are re-entering the US.⁠

4. How do I get a test while at the destination? Many resorts are offering on-site testing. Some are even offering this test at no additional charge. We can help you in making testing plans.⁠

5. What if I test positive? All resorts and suppliers are creating contingency plans to be able to accommodate guests during quarantine should they test positive. Some resorts are offering a quarantine needed extension on a complimentary basis.
